Keith Urban’s guitarist Maggie Baugh will miss his homecoming concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Friday (October 17) due to a scheduling conflict, as she will be performing a solo show in Carmel, Indiana that same night. Although Baugh, 25, is Urban’s touring guitarist, she is also focused on building her solo career, including a Nashville performance of her own during the Hallmark Takeover at the Grand Ole Opry on Wednesday (October 15). Urban’s band will feature a different guitarist for his Nashville show, and despite rumors linking Baugh’s absence to personal drama involving the country superstar’s recent divorce from Nicole Kidman, the reason is purely professional. Meanwhile, Baugh is leveraging all the newfound attention to promote her new music, which includes her just-released single, “The Devil Win.” (Taste of Country)
